This international well known bird Island is a paradise for nature photographers. Black-tailed Godwits in the meadows, Spoonbills foraging in the ditches Hen- en Marsh Harrier hunting along the Dunes. One location is especially good for Avocets, waders and here it´s possible to photograph four species of Terns.

Spring Birds
In april the first summer visitors arrive. Godwits, Redshanks and Lapwings are busy in the meadows. Purple Herons building nests in the marshes while Black Terns feed on insects and Bluethroats sing their song. This is just a selection because it´s possible to see more than 100 species of birds in one day!

Nature Photography Tours Holland
back home
The Netherlands is a great country for Nature Photography, especially for birds. In spring birds are busy finding partners, building nests and defending their territory. What about Purple Herons flying in with a beak full of nesting material or Avocats heavily fighting in order to deffend a small piece of dry land? In winter milions of ducks and geese winter in the Netherlands groups of more then 10.000 of Barnacle Geese a foraging in the fields. We also know the locations for rare geese like Lesser White-fronted, Red-Breasted Geese or even Ross' Goose. In cooperation with the wellknown Birding Holland I will be available as a guide for nature photography tours in the Netherlands.

It's easy to visit the Netherlands on your own and you will be able to get some nice shots but a local guide knows the locations to get supurb photos of sought-after bird. Would you be able to find a Bittern, Bearded Tit, Smew, Firecrest or Hawfinch with a good chance to photograph them? It might be that you return without the photos you hoped for and have to pay another visit, spending twice as much if you had an experienced guide.

On the left column you can get an idea off the tours we offer. For availability, terms, conditions and why you should choose to hire us visit the website of the wellknow Birding Holland.

Hope to welcome you soon and show the beauties of Holland.
